Officials with CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System have announced the “Women With Heart’’ program, which celebrates women who have survived heart disease, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28 at First United Methodist Church in Lindale.
The program is free to attend and will be held in the church’s Fellowship Hall.
Women With Heart is an annual program conceived to honor these women who have survived heart disease with the help of CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System and the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital.
Activities will include a healthy dinner, door prizes and access to vital health information.
The dinner is free and open to the public.
These events will educate attendees about the risks for heart disease, and feature door prizes and informational booths.
The event will be highlighted with an educational and inspiring keynote address, and followed by a panel discussion/ question and answer session by CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic physicians representing several cardiovascular specialties.
