UT Tyler announces President’s, Dean’s list honorees
Officials with the University of Texas at Tyler have announced that 654 students were named to the President’s Honor Roll for the spring 2018 semester and 467 students and 30 pharmacy students were named to the Dean’s List.
Several students from Lindale and Hideaway earned recognition for the President’s and Dean’s List.
To qualify for the President’s Honor Roll, a student must have completed, in one semester, 12 or more semester hours of undergraduate college-level credit with a grade of “A” in all courses.
To be considered for such recognition in any semester, a student must qualify as a matriculated student pursuing a first bachelor’s degree. The President’s Honor Roll is awarded in fall and spring semesters only.

LINDALE – Sara Woodcock, Rachel Foster, Sandra Viramontes, Kendall Wilkinson, McKenzie Moore, Jordyn Blackwell, Joc’Lyn Lovett, Andrew Fobel, Aaron Cortinas, Virginia Fernandez, Lauren Lang, Madison Malone, Kayla Fields, Grayson Pittman, Kylie Ledford, Jadyn Holt, Rebecca Gibson and Joshua Allen.
HIDEAWAY – Robert Little and Gabriel Gray.
To qualify for the university Dean’s List, a student must have completed 12 or more semester hours of undergraduate college-level credit in the awarding semester with a grade point average of at least 3.75.
To be considered for such recognition in any semester, a student must qualify as a matriculated student pursuing a first bachelor’s degree. The Dean’s List is awarded in fall and spring semesters only. Students named to the President’s Honor Roll are not named to the Dean’s List.
To qualify for the Dean’s List in the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy, a student must have completed six or more credit hours during a semester with a grade point average of at least 3.75. There were two, eight-week sessions during the spring 2018 semester.

Lindale’s Tiiman named to
Barton’s Dean’s List
GREAT BEND, Kans. – Former Lindale High School student Dylan Tiiman earned Dean’s List honors from Barton Community College for the spring, 2018 semester, school officials announced.
Barton named 266 students to the Dean’s List for the spring term. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or “A” letter scale.
