The annual Lindale Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fry is scheduled to get under way at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 20 at Fire Station No. 1, 208 East Hubbard in downtown Lindale, publicity officials announced.
All Lindale citizens and residents of surrounding counties are invited to attend.
The event will continue until all the food has been served.
In addition to dining on fried fish, hush puppies, French fries, cole slaw, potato salad and beans, attendees can visit and meet the members of the LVFD and view the department’s new trucks and equipment.
Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go to benefit the LVFD.
“The Lindale Volunteer Fire Department is proud to continue this great tradition as a way to reach out to the community to further build the partnership between out department and the citizens,’’ said spokesman Aaron Munn. “We are thankful for the consistent show of support from the community. With your assistance, Lindale FD is able to continue to provide a high level of service.’’
