The Lindale High School Speech/Debate Team competed on Saturday, Dec. 1 at All Saints High School in Tyler.

Placing at the competition included:

1st Public Forum Debate: Logan Herrera and Natalie Borger, with Herrera also receiving the top speaker award.

2nd Public Forum Debate: Austin Baker and Charles Turner

Poetry: Sampson Hollander, 2nd; Natalie Borger, 3rd

Prose: Olivia Howard, 2nd

Congress, Novice Congress: Emma Johnsen, 2nd; Zoe Henderson, 4th

Varsity Congress: Logan Herrera, 2nd; Barron Wolter, 3rd; Brandon Thrush, 4th

Oratory: Logan Jones, 3rd
