Services for James Larry Williams, 72, of Lindale were held Wednesday, Dec. 5 in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Byron Howard and Rev. Tom Buck officiating.
Interment was in the Edom Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale.
Mr. Williams died Sunday, Dec. 2 in a Tyler hospice center. He was born in Van Zandt County on Sept. 29, 1940 to the late James Lewis and Elsie (Kennon) Williams.
He had previously worked for Tyler Pipe Industries and was retired from Kelly-Springfield. He was a member of the Colfax Masonic Lodge No. 904 and of the Lindale First Baptist Church.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Louise Williams of Lindale; daughters and sons-in-law, Monica and Steven Moore of Lindale and Michelle and Nathan Roden of Lindale; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leta Faye and Cleburn Shavor of Murchison and Barbara Jean and Harold Upchurch of Texarkana; 4 grandchildren, Jami Moore, Kaci Moore, Aaron Roden and Allison Roden.
Pallbearers were John Johnson, Kelly Cole, Matthew Daniel, Ricky Daniel, Steven Moore and Nathan Roden. Honorary pallbearers were Cleburn Shavor and Aaron Roden.
