The Rotary Club’s annual Christmas Parade was enjoyed once again by “kids from one to 92’’ this past Saturday in downtown Lindale and the patient ones were rewarded with a visit from the jolly old elf himself.

Santa Claus, with an assist from the Lindale Volunteer Fire Department, greeted parade watchers who lined the route which traveled from Highway 16 and down Highway 69.

City and county dignitaries were on hand as were members of the Pride of Lindale Marching Band. Colorful floats from Tyler Junior College and Lindale High School as well as the Cub Scouts also marched along the route.

Youngsters were treated to candy being tossed from just about every float as well.
