Services for Edith Gill, 74, of Lindale and a resident of the Legends of Lindale Assisted Living facility in Lindale, were held Tuesday, Nov. 20 in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kenny Ray officiating.
Private interment followed with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Gill passed away on Friday, Nov. 16 in a Tyler hospital. She was born in Hannibal, Mo., on Nov. 20, 1937 to the late Everett and Martha Dane. Mrs. Gill was a longtime resident of the Lindale area and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Gill on May 23, 2006.
Mrs. Gill is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Bill Smart of Tyler; Sheila Trammell of Lindale; Patricia and Robert White of Santa Fe, N.M. and Sue and Beamer Beams of Chandler; son and daughter-inlaw, Travis and Charla Gill of Lindale; three brothers, David Dane of La Monte, Mo., Donnie Dane of Olathe, Kan. and Louis Dane of Sand Springs, Okla.; two sisters, Jeri Teal and Nancy Parkhurst, both of Eldon, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Rodney Trammell, Wilson Smith, Todd Jones, Beamer Beams, Chris Wren and Aaron Hance.
