Services for Mr. Merrell Amos “ Junior” Perryman, 83, of Lindale were held Thursday, May 16 in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ronnie Stribble officiating.

Interment was in the Red Springs Cemetery.

Services for Mr. Claude B. Jordan, Sr., 83, of Lindale were held Tuesday, May 21 at the Central Baptist Church in Lindale with Rev. Mark Thompson, Rev. Byron Howard and Rev. David “Took” Martin officiating.

Interment was in the Lindale City Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge

Funeral Directors in Lindale.

DAWSON “BUCK” ZION

Graveside services were held recently for Dawson Monroe “Buck’’ Zion, an East Texas resident who was associated with Mercy Ships of Lindale and died in Grand Saline.

He passed away on May 16 at the age of 72.

Mr. Zion was formerly of Portales, N.M. and through his missionary work traveled extensively around the world.

He also served in the U.S. Navy.
